Base Salary

$105k - $160k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain digital technology infrastructure and API platforms supporting applications and services.
  • Automate application deployment through internal software deployment platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests, debug complex issues, and support software quality and performance.
  • Improve software development and deployment processes, implement approved standards, and maintain system documentation.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot deployed applications to minimize downtime and resolve issues quickly.
  • Lead complex API platform initiatives and manage API design, publishing, versioning, and retirement.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience; the role typically reflects 5 years or more.
  • Experience with API management platforms such as Kong, Broadcom Layer7, Google Apigee, or equivalent technologies.
  • Strong understanding of API gateway architecture, traffic management, rate limiting, and security policies.
  • Expertise in API lifecycle management, including design, publishing, versioning, and retirement.
  • Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OpenID Connect authentication and authorization standards.
  • Proficiency in Python, Shell, or Ansible for API deployment and configuration automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD integration and DevOps practices for API platforms.
  • Knowledge of API monitoring and analytics using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native API solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to lead complex API platform initiatives.

Benefits

  • Expected base salary is $105,000.00-$160,000.
  • Eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and individual performance.
  • Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accrues at one hour per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
