Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture and long-term technology direction.
- Collaborate with digital product managers, architects, and product leaders to deliver cloud-based solutions and define platform roadmaps and shared-services strategy.
- Mentor engineering community members and senior engineers while driving professional development within technical teams.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, observability practices, and reliability practices across teams.
- Lead architectural design reviews, cross-functional engineering efforts, and large-scale technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, 9 or more years coding in multiple listed languages, open-source framework contributions, frontend framework experience, API development, database systems, cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, mentoring, observability, architectural design reviews, coding standards, reliability practices, AI-based coding tools, and technology strategy experience.
