Responsibilities
- Develop product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- Design and implement hardware testing strategies, automated test systems, and testing tools.
- Collaborate with software and production teams to improve automation and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide feedback to design teams to support product enhancements.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and triage production, product, and process issues.
- Lead system architecture designs for technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
- Demonstrated experience driving strategic design of scalable system architecture.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, accountability, and ownership skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree, hardware testing and automated test-system experience, hardware-software integration experience, data analysis and performance monitoring experience, and prior work in high-volume manufacturing.
- Preferred experience includes SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, and Nix.
