
Senior Engineer - Software Design Automation

Responsibilities
- Develop engineering and automation applications in C#/.NET and VB.NET to automate Solid Edge configurable standard designs.
- Plan, implement, monitor, maintain, and support technology that streamlines engineering design processes.
- Develop application interfaces, database tables, integrations, and full-stack desktop, web, and client functionality.
- Work with SQL Server and Oracle databases and implement APIs, serialization, and web application components.
- Assist with CAD modeling and drafting standards, including design automation and DFM/DFA integration.
- Improve design automation for productivity and accuracy and support engineering tools such as spreadsheets, calculations, parts lists, and BOM generation.
- Develop system procedures, technical documentation, and user guides to ensure consistent quality and compliance with company and industrial standards.
- Provide technical training to associates and collaborate with engineering, drafting, operations, and application teams.
- Support other assigned projects and work shifts when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- At least 6 years of software development experience in CAD automation and/or engineering applications development.
- Experience with C#/.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework 6, LINQ, REST/SOAP APIs, serialization, JQuery, AJAX, ReactJS or Angular, Bootstrap or Material UI, JSON, XML, WinForms, and WPF.
- Experience working as a full-stack developer across server-side, client-side, web, desktop, and client applications.
- Ability to work with SQL Server and Oracle databases and software design patterns.
- Strong English communication, teamwork, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, self-learn, communicate effectively, and work shifts as required.
- Preferred experience with ERP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel.
