Responsibilities
- Design and implement Dynatrace observability across applications, infrastructure, Kubernetes, databases, and cloud services.
- Develop observability capabilities for AI applications, models, agents, prompts, dependencies, performance, reliability, and operational health.
- Implement distributed tracing and end-to-end transaction monitoring to identify bottlenecks, dependencies, and root causes.
- Build Java- and Python-based automation and integrations for Dynatrace onboarding, configuration, alerting, dashboards, workflow orchestration, and CI/CD processes.
- Evaluate Dynatrace AI capabilities and emerging observability technologies and communicate practical architecture recommendations to engineering teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Java, related technologies such as J2EE, and Python.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with relational and document database systems such as Oracle and MongoDB.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and testing frameworks such as JUnit and Zephyr.
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities in web applications.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
