Base Salary
$193k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale document ingestion and processing growing at 10x every six months.
- Design large-scale data collection across more than 50 legal jurisdictions.
- Build highly secure systems for governments and professional services firms.
- Lead projects delivering AI experiences across web, desktop, mobile, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and API interfaces.
- Build AI-platform and AI-native features including agentic orchestration layers, tool calls, and retrieval systems.
- Ship across the full stack using React and TypeScript on the frontend and Python and Postgres on the backend.
- Own and lead engineering projects across Harvey’s product lines in collaboration with AI, Legal, and GTM teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of post-bachelor’s or post-master’s experience in a product-focused full-stack software engineering role.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, CSS, Tailwind CSS, Python, or related technologies.
- A track record of building fast-growing SaaS products.
- A track record of shipping intuitive products with strong attention to detail.
- Experience building scalable and extensible solutions across the stack for multiple product lines.
- Strong programming skills and general computer science knowledge.
- Early-stage startup experience is a plus.
