Responsibilities
- Build backend services and optimization algorithms for real-time energy asset processing.
- Develop operator dashboards for monitoring and controlling battery assets.
- Design and scale cloud infrastructure for distributed battery systems.
- Deploy production optimization solutions and refine them using real-world feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to define product features and requirements.
Requirements
- Have up to five years of professional experience and have graduated in 2023 or later.
- Have full-stack familiarity with React, TypeScript, Python, and Tailwind CSS.
- Have hands-on experience with energy systems and energy management system controllers.
- Have experience in the energy industry and at an early-stage startup.
- Have experience deploying optimization solutions in production and understand mixed-integer optimization.
- Have cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering, with a grade better than 2.0.
- Have fluent or near-fluent German proficiency.
- Have completed a semester abroad at a leading university in the US, UK, or Asia.
Benefits
- Annual base salary of €70,000 to €100,000.
- Visa sponsorship is available.
- On-site work five days per week in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
