Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure using automation tools.
- Identify functional and nonfunctional cloud infrastructure requirements.
- Apply cloud architecture standards, policies, and guidelines while supporting data privacy, regulatory compliance, consistency, and reliability.
- Automate infrastructure and cloud operations for Verily products on GCP and other cloud providers using Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop self-service workflows to reduce repetitive cloud operations toil.
- Establish observability systems and lead incident management processes to support 99.9% or higher availability.
- Develop technical and design documentation, training materials, and organizational guidance for cloud technologies and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS and large-scale cloud operations.
- At least 2 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps tools.
- At least 1 year of experience with Go, Python, or Shell and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud network solutions.
- At least 1 year of experience establishing observability systems and leading incident management processes.
- Preferred: hands-on GCP experience, Certified Kubernetes Administrator qualification, deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, and familiarity with Atlantis or Terraform Cloud.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and technical or design documentation experience.
