Responsibilities
- Setup, edit, and maintain GIS datasets for internal and external customers.
- Perform quality assurance on database updates and work orders.
- Assist with scheduling, tracking, and monitoring GIS projects.
- Provide technical and analytical support for GIS software.
- Recommend software enhancements for GIS solutions.
- Commit to NISC’s Statement of Shared Values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Geoscience, Cartography, GIS, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of related experience preferred.
- Moderate knowledge of business-related software applications.
- Familiarity with ArcPro, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcCatalog.
- Python experience for customizing existing scripts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to travel as necessary.
