Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design, scoping, implementation, and integration testing of EC2 Nitro System features.
  • Build secure and scalable services for monitoring, diagnostics, and automated recovery.
  • Design and build hardware/software validation platforms supporting efficient development automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architectures, and robust scalable solutions.
  • Improve development processes, tools, and automation to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Mentor junior engineers on scoping, design, and maintainable software development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
  • Experience with embedded development in C/C++.
  • Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles.
