Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and maintain automated test automation frameworks.
- Define and execute automated tests using Cucumber and Java.
- Test microservices and backend components for performance and reliability.
- Validate REST APIs, web services, XML and JSON data, and SQL interactions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery.
- Apply secure development practices and compliance standards in testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Scrum/Agile ceremonies.
- Mentor team members and promote QA best practices.
- Support stakeholder decision-making and QA strategy.
- Evaluate and report on new testing tools, techniques, and approaches.
Requirements
- 4+ years of QA automation experience, including building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Strong experience with Cucumber and Java.
- Experience testing microservices and backend components.
- Knowledge of REST, web services, XML, JSON, SQL, Tomcat, and Linux.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or similar tools.
- Understanding of secure development practices and functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and continuous delivery.
- Ability to mentor team members and promote QA best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, motivation, and results-focused skills.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
- A BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related discipline is desirable.
- Payments, FinTech, financial-services, transaction-processing, and performance or resilience testing experience is desirable.
