Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement ETF application systems using well-structured and efficient code.
- Build automated test suites and quality-assurance procedures using standard testing frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and integrate software components into fully functional systems.
- Use CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices to deliver software through rapid iterations and frequent releases.
- Collaborate with distributed engineering, product, operations, and support teams.
- Translate internal and external client needs into clear technical solutions and support.
- Participate in production release activities, including deployment validation, issue triage, and post-release support.
- Promote AI-assisted coding, automated testing, remediation, and code quality across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of professional experience and practical expertise.
- Typically 5+ years of experience.
- Strong back-end experience with Java 17 or later, Spring 6, and Spring Boot 4.
- Strong Core Java knowledge, including multithreading, memory usage, and large data transfer.
- Front-end proficiency with Angular 18 or later, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience designing, building, testing, and managing client-facing web services and APIs for inter-process communication.
- Experience with MSSQL or Oracle databases and caching frameworks such as Hazelcast.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, FIX with QuickFixJ, or MQ.
- Experience with JUnit, TestContainers, Mockito, Playwright, and Apache utility libraries or testing frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders and external clients.
- Preferred experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, MCP, Codex, Claude, or Windsurf.
- Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT security models.
- GitLab CI/CD and DevOps experience is a plus.
- Experience with container-based cloud frameworks or Docker or Podman is a plus.
- Understanding of ETFs or a general financial-services background is preferred.
