Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend microservices using .NET Core and C#.
- Implement distributed tracing, logging, and metrics using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools.
- Optimize service-to-service communication, database access, PostgreSQL usage, indexing, and connection handling.
- Contribute to service discovery, dynamic routing, and blue/green or canary rollout strategies.
- Collaborate with QA and frontend teams to improve testability, traceability, availability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in architecture reviews and establish microservices best practices at scale.
- Maintain CI/CD integration pipelines and ensure reliable backend service deployments.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues using logs, traces, metrics, and profiling tools.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development experience, including at least 2 years in a microservices environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, C#, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with distributed tracing, metrics, and log aggregation tools such as Jaeger, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana.
- Understanding of service communication and asynchronous messaging patterns using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and container-based deployments.
- Knowledge of software performance profiling, benchmarking, optimization, resilience patterns, and debugging large-scale systems.
- Preferred: experience with Istio, Consul, or another service mesh.
- Preferred: familiarity with Event Sourcing, CQRS, and DDD patterns.
- Preferred: exposure to Terraform and Helm.
- Preferred: experience with Redis, MongoDB, or TimescaleDB.
- Preferred: knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
