Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot software and data integration solutions.
  • Build extensible data acquisition, extraction, transformation, and distribution pipelines across diverse data sources and stores.
  • Develop business intelligence integration designs through complex data analysis and problem solving.
  • Gather and analyze large, diverse datasets to identify problems and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with product development, product management, integration engineering, quality engineering, and system administration teams.
  • Work with geographically distributed teams to build reusable and consumable technology products.
  • Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation.
  • Apply secure coding, resiliency, testing, and operational stability practices.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in data integration projects using big data technologies.
  • Hands-on AWS data warehousing and database experience with EMR, S3, AWS Glue, Lambda, Apache Airflow, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong CI/CD experience using Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, YAML, and Maven for cloud deployments.
  • Hands-on Spark engineering experience with PySpark or Scala for scalable data pipelines.
  • Experience with Athena, RDS, and Databricks SQL Warehouse or comparable big data querying tools.
  • Experience integrating Parquet, ORC, Avro, Delta Lake, and Iceberg data formats.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and data lake concepts.
  • Strong experience with Java, open-source technologies, and API standards.
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Preferred experience with Oracle, SQL, NoSQL data stores, and DynamoDB.
  • Databricks experience is preferred.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly in a dynamic environment.
