Responsibilities
- Support cloud infrastructure and system administration.
- Provide system operations and maintenance support.
- Monitor system and server health and develop solutions for identified issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system problems.
- Assist with security scans and security accreditation activities.
- Manage system accounts, certificates, credentials, and expiration dates.
- Maintain updated repositories across multiple fabrics.
- Manage backup and restore processes for core services.
- Deploy environments and tools supporting data science users, applications, and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Linux, Bash, Python, and service management.
- Experience building and deploying applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Compute Environment.
- Experience with deployment automation and continuous integration tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and version control using Git and GitLab.
- Experience with code repositories and build or development pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, or Nexus.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, or Marathon.
- Experience working with software development teams in source-controlled project environments.
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Desired qualifications include 10 years of DevOps or software engineering experience, SQL and relational database knowledge, AWS experience, distributed database and streaming technology experience, and familiarity with Python, Anaconda, Jupyter Notebook, or NiFi.
