Full Stack Engineer

$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, ship, and support full-stack features for provider, parent, and government experiences
- Own the development lifecycle from scoping and architecture through implementation and production support
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and resolve production issues across the stack
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, and go-to-market teams to address customer problems
- Design systems and data models for complex workflows and integrations
- Improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability
- Contribute to architecture decisions, technical direction, engineering standards, and tooling
- Use AI tools, automation, and modern workflows to improve development speed and productivity
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a full-stack engineer
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Proficiency with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Elixir, or similar backend systems
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres
- Ability to deliver high-quality code with strong testing practices
- Experience building and shipping production systems end-to-end
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Preferred experience building complex or enterprise-grade systems with multiple integrations
- Preferred experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs
- Preferred familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containerization, or serverless architectures
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Preferred experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Preferred experience incorporating AI into products or development workflows
