Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and architectural direction across the High-Net-Worth technology portfolio, particularly Banker Workbench and Private Banker experiences.
- Shape and deliver the integration of Private Banking capabilities into Banker Workbench with platform-owning teams.
- Drive complex technical problems from ambiguity to resolution and translate decisions into executable engineering outcomes.
- Contribute hands-on through prototypes, complex implementation work, code reviews, and difficult engineering problem-solving.
- Design and guide scalable, secure, and resilient services, APIs, and integration patterns across the enterprise.
- Align architecture, dependencies, sequencing, and delivery across multiple squads and domains.
- Promote reusable engineering patterns and standards that improve delivery speed, quality, and operability.
- Champion automated testing, CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, resilience, and production ownership.
- Assess emerging technologies, including AI and agentic patterns, for banker, operations, and customer outcomes.
- Mentor engineers, provide technical coaching, and raise engineering capability across the organization.
- Challenge constructively, make timely decisions, and take ownership beyond an individual squad.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in a full-stack engineering development role.
- Expertise in .NET, C#, modern backend engineering, React, TypeScript, Graph and REST APIs, API-first architecture, microservices, and SQL and NoSQL data stores.
- Expertise in AWS, cloud-native architecture, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, deployment automation, DevSecOps, and secure-by-design engineering.
- Experience with automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or customer-facing platforms.
- Experience building AI-enabled applications or working with LLMs or agentic architectures is valuable.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or information systems from an accredited university.
- Strong engineering capability, technical judgment, learning ability, stakeholder alignment, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
