Base Salary

$137k - $160k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical and operational lifecycle of the ServiceNow platform, including roadmap execution, optimization, upgrades, and retirement decisions.
  • Design, configure, and engineer ServiceNow ITSM solutions and related capabilities such as Incident, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge, and integrations.
  • Lead complex implementations and enhancements involving workflow design, scripting, integrations, data models, and performance tuning.
  • Serve as a technical lead for initiatives and engineering workstreams.
  • Provide Tier 3 support, investigate complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Design and operate secure, compliant integrations between ServiceNow and upstream and downstream systems.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, runbooks, release readiness, change controls, and operational metrics.
  • Track and analyze platform health, availability, incident trends, change success rates, and technical debt, and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Create technical documentation, standards, design patterns, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
  • Mentor ServiceNow engineers, analysts, and administrators and recommend platform innovations and continuous improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform engineering, administration, or development roles.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, configuring, and supporting enterprise ServiceNow implementations involving ITSM and related modules.
  • 3+ years of experience providing Tier 2/3 platform support and serving as a primary technical escalation point.
  • Ability to independently design, implement, and support complex ServiceNow solutions and integrations.
  • Strong scripting and configuration experience, including business rules, script includes, client scripts, and workflows or flows.
  • Strong technical documentation and operational runbook writing skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with ServiceNow strategy, roadmaps, or governance models is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL 4 practices, particularly Incident, Change Enablement, Problem, and Service Design, is preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations, including REST, SOAP, event-driven patterns, and identity and access integrations, is preferred.
  • Experience supporting platform upgrades, patching, and release management in regulated or high-availability environments is preferred.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical workstreams is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMDB architecture, data quality, and service mapping concepts is preferred.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, or automated testing approaches within ServiceNow or comparable platforms is preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future employer visa sponsorship.

Benefits

  • Base pay range is $137,000.00-$160,000.00 USD annually, with eligibility for an annual bonus of 25%-40%.
