Responsibilities
- Participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout, and hardware engineers.
- Design, develop, and utilize productivity-enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers.
- Develop electronic data processing systems software, compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
- Determine computer user needs and advise hardware designers on storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements.
- Respond to customer or client requests and develop solutions using formal education, judgment, and software processes.
