Base Salary
$298k - $368k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision and architectural strategy for autonomous multi-agent systems.
- Lead the exploration and application of state-of-the-art agentic technologies for automating triage workflows.
- Architect and guide the implementation of scalable, robust agentic frameworks.
- Collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for agentic workflows in the Waymo Driver evaluation lifecycle.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers within DUE Experience and partner teams.
- Identify and advocate for broad problems worth solving, turning concepts into actionable projects.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in software engineering with a focus on large-scale systems.
- Deep expertise in AI and ML, with hands-on experience in building autonomous agents and multi-agent systems.
- Proven ability to define technical strategy and influence senior leadership.
- Strong track record of technical leadership in designing agent-based solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
