Base Salary
$64k - $86k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated regression, integration, API, data validation, and end-to-end testing capabilities.
- Execute and document automation, smoke, sanity, functional, integration, regression, and post-implementation tests.
- Test thriventfunds.com and associated technical environments for performance requirements and defects.
- Follow the defect life cycle using appropriate defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with engineers on initiatives aligned with the broader software engineering strategy.
- Participate in the team support rotation and build knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager Cloud and AWS.
- Learn and apply new technologies to improve testing practices and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- 0–2 years of application engineering experience.
- Understanding of at least one programming language and design technique.
- Knowledge of at least one operating system or application development platform.
- Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of systems and software design concepts.
- Knowledge or experience querying databases for data lookup or updates.
- Preferred: financial services industry experience.
- Preferred: one year of application engineering experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, test automation, or software testing.
- Preferred: experience with test automation frameworks and strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
