Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate scalable microservices that provide security functionality for SAP HANA Cloud.
- Embed automated scanning, vulnerability management, policy enforcement, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Translate regulatory and internal security requirements into automated, code-driven controls.
- Design and maintain RBAC, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code practices for secure, repeatable configurations.
- Provide observability, support, and continuous improvement for deployed security services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed secure practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
Requirements
- Experience developing and operating cloud-native microservices using DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and security automation tooling such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Experience with Kubernetes security hardening, including pod security policies, network policies, and secrets management.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP public cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of identity and access management, RBAC, least-privilege execution, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
- Knowledge of encryption, secrets management, and key rotation strategies, including HashiCorp Vault or KMS.
- Scripting experience with Python and/or Go for security operations, remediation, and compliance reporting.
- Experience with log aggregation, observability, and visualization platforms such as Grafana and Loki.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering teams and promote secure development practices.
