Responsibilities
- Lead a team delivering automation and DevOps solutions and implementations in customer 4G and 5G network environments.
- Gather operating-system and application metrics for performance tuning and fault finding.
- Partner with development teams on scalable system design, testing, release procedures, and cloud-native architectures.
- Build and maintain automation for deploying and managing platforms, applications, and services.
- Manage and improve the reliability, quality, uptime, and lifecycle of platform systems and services.
- Roll out automation in customer environments and provide troubleshooting during live-node activities.
- Provide primary operational support and maintain automation assets for the global DevOps platform.
Requirements
- Required experience with Git, Ansible, Ubuntu or RHEL enterprise environments, Kubernetes, Python, and Bash scripting.
- Preferred experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Puppet or Chef, Docker, and related automation and artifact-management tools.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Expertise in DevOps pipeline orchestration and automation.
- Experience with source-code management, configuration management, security and compliance, registries and artifact repositories, operating systems, monitoring tools, and software development tools.
- Knowledge of project management, Scrum, Agile, and DevOps ways of working is preferred.
- Academic credentials, if provided, must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are subject to verification.
