Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term engineering vision and roadmap for International and B2B offerings.
- Design and deliver multi-tenant, globally scalable platform capabilities and mission-critical systems.
- Build tooling and processes that enable engineering teams to develop, verify, and deploy across geographies.
- Drive reliability, observability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical decision-making, hands-on problem-solving, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineers and technical leaders and foster a strong engineering culture.
- Encourage experimentation, rapid prototyping, and pragmatic solutions to complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including significant experience with backend and data engineering systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience architecting and scaling large-scale distributed systems and data platforms.
- Deep expertise in software engineering fundamentals, system design, performance optimization, data structures, algorithms, and distributed computing.
- Experience building high-throughput, low-latency, and highly available systems.
- Strong ownership, analytical problem-solving, business acumen, stakeholder management, and technical leadership abilities.
- Experience with large-scale data ecosystems, cloud-native architectures, and modern data infrastructure technologies is preferred.
- Ability to mentor and influence teams and operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
