Base Salary
$118k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate requirements into maintainable software solutions for encryption products.
- Troubleshoot complex software issues independently or with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop software for target hardware using computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles.
- Collaborate on hardware-software interfaces, operational requirements, and overall system design.
- Support requirements analysis, design, implementation, hardware-software integration, and formal testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop software test plans, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment for operating data analysis, experimental testing, prototyping, and evaluation.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
- Develop embedded software using primarily Rust, C/C++, and Python.
- Travel approximately 10% and obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of production Rust software development experience.
- At least 1 year of software design and development experience using C/C++ and object-oriented design.
- Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Active security clearance is highly preferred.
- Experience with object-oriented design and implementation, software modeling, and UML tools such as IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw/Cameo is preferred.
- Familiarity or expertise with Rust, Python scripting, embedded software systems, Information Assurance, or cryptography is preferred.
- Experience with NSA Type 1 certification or software certification such as DO-178 is preferred.
