Base Salary
$109k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software for technology characterization, operator trials, demonstrations, and industry showcases.
- Optimize performance and timing constraints in real-time embedded systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design descriptions, architecture specifications, usage notes, and release notes.
- Collaborate with baseband, RF systems, hardware, and test/integration engineers.
- Contribute to emerging wireless technologies and wireless system architecture evolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Understanding of multithreading and operating-system fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas, estimates, risks, dependencies, and work status clearly.
- Ability to work effectively across teams in a collaborative software engineering environment.
- Preferred: master’s degree or two years of related embedded software engineering experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of wireless communication systems such as 5G NR and 802.11.
- Preferred: experience implementing and optimizing signal-processing algorithms on general-purpose and heterogeneous processors, including GPUs and DSPs.
- Preferred: experience with complex software debugging, system performance optimization, device drivers, and new hardware platform bring-up.
