Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design for complex cross-team features and platform capabilities, including HLDs, LLDs, design reviews, and explicit technical trade-offs.
- Write production-grade code across Node.js, MongoDB/DynamoDB, Angular, React, and React Native for high-impact problems.
- Define RESTful and OData API contracts, microservice boundaries, and scalable data models for customer and enterprise-system integrations.
- Set standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, documentation, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Mentor Senior Engineers and Leads and raise engineering quality through design and code reviews.
- Own non-functional requirements, lead root-cause analysis, and improve system reliability and performance.
- Shape deployments on AWS, with Azure and GCP where needed, using Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, UX designers, QE, engineering leadership, and customers on product vision, planning, and estimates.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and help integrate AI services into industrial products responsibly.
- Support integrations with SAP, IBM Maximo, and other third-party services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of full stack engineering experience delivering multiple major SaaS product releases.
- Deep expertise in Node.js and MongoDB or DynamoDB, including data modeling and performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in Angular or React; React Native or mobile application experience is a strong plus.
- Experience designing RESTful or OData APIs and microservices architectures at scale.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD; Azure or GCP experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated technical leadership through design ownership, engineer mentoring, and influence without authority.
- Experience with unit testing, code quality tooling such as SonarQube, security, observability, and performance engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical trade-offs to engineers, product managers, and customers.
- Experience in an agile environment.
- Preferred experience with SAP or IBM Maximo integrations, Realm, AWS Amplify, Instabug, Mixpanel, payment gateways, AI/GenAI product features, and industrial, ERP, or enterprise SaaS products.
- Valid passport for occasional customer travel.
