Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, maintain, and support applications alongside software developers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application design and development.
  • Help improve application performance and stability.
  • Assist with evaluating and implementing technologies to improve user experience and efficiency.
  • Assist with software quality testing and standards verification.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development and application support.
  • Write technical specifications and documentation, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at Northeastern University; Computer Science or Engineering majors are preferred, though other majors may be considered.
  • Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and C#, as well as databases and data structures.
  • Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technology.
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, assume significant responsibility, and complete assignments within short time frames.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and legally eligible to work at the specified location.
