Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services and Azure AI capabilities.
- Develop and optimize LLM-powered solutions using GPT-family models and Microsoft Copilot integrations.
- Implement RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, indexing, and reranking strategies.
- Engineer prompts and AI orchestration workflows to improve model accuracy and user experience.
- Develop, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and container technologies.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control workflows, and deployment processes.
- Work in Linux-based environments with virtual machines and containerized infrastructure.
- Design NoSQL data storage solutions and modern data access patterns.
- Integrate OCR technologies for document ingestion and information extraction.
- Write unit tests and contribute to quality assurance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical requirements, architecture, and implementation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented software development.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with Docker, containers, and containerized deployment models.
- Practical experience integrating and using LLMs, including GPT-family models.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot, with familiarity with Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude.
- Understanding of RAG, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, indexing, prompt engineering, and reranking.
- Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, OCR technologies, automated testing, and unit testing frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred: React and TypeScript experience for full-stack development, AI-powered document intelligence, Microsoft Office document processing, document parsing, content extraction, metadata enrichment, Azure AI Search or similar vector databases, and production AI workload deployment.
