
Senior Software Architect
BarbaricumResponsibilities
- Develop and guide software architecture vision and implementation while ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Implement DevSecOps and ground vehicle safety and cybersecurity best practices.
- Create architecture models using UAF, SysML, or UML and manage data requirements.
- Conduct architecture reviews, trade-off studies, risk management, and configuration management.
- Ensure compliance with MOSA and program-specific guidelines.
- Lead software testing, design analysis, and evaluation of design changes.
- Support planning and management of software development and acquisition activities.
- Provide software architecture expertise in IPT meetings and train and mentor program office personnel.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology with 12+ years of experience, or a master’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology with 7–10 years of experience, is required.
- Expertise in software architecture and UAF, SysML, or UML modeling is required.
- Proficiency in DevSecOps and ground vehicle cybersecurity best practices is required.
- Experience managing data requirements and ensuring compliance with MOSA is required.
- Ability to conduct trade-off studies, risk management, and design analysis is required.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support program activities is required.
