Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain privacy-by-design solutions across enterprise platforms and vehicle systems.
- Analyze business, data, and system requirements to identify privacy risks and control requirements.
- Implement privacy controls including pseudonymization, tokenization, encryption, data masking, consent management, authorization, data minimization, DLP integrations, and privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Integrate privacy requirements into applications, platforms, APIs, data pipelines, analytics, AI, software, and vehicle development processes.
- Support software design reviews, implementation troubleshooting, privacy assessments, control validation, compliance reviews, audits, and remediation activities.
- Create technical specifications, reference architectures, standards, documentation, and implementation guidance.
- Serve as a Privacy Engineering subject matter expert and communicate privacy engineering practices across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, cybersecurity, architecture, or related technical disciplines.
- Experience implementing privacy, security, data protection, or governance controls.
- Strong understanding of Privacy by Design principles and data protection concepts.
- Experience collaborating with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Cybersecurity, or Data Governance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and software development skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with privacy or security engineering, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, cloud and enterprise data platforms, analytics ecosystems, API architectures, AI or machine learning governance, connected vehicle or automotive software, embedded engineering, consent management, and data lifecycle management.
