Base Salary
$159k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform application security reviews, penetration testing, and security activities across software development lifecycle phases.
- Analyze application and service security, identify and remediate vulnerabilities, and respond to emerging threat scenarios.
- Build security automation and security tools using appropriate technologies.
- Conduct projects and research, provide security guidance documentation, and deliver and improve security metrics.
- Provide security training and outreach to internal development teams.
- Participate in team planning, process improvement, recruiting activities, mentoring, and related administrative work.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review in a common programming language.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks with command-line tools.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or at least 2 years of IT Security experience.
- Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP networking protocols and industry security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
- Preferred experience includes threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, network security, and security activities across the software development lifecycle.
