Responsibilities
- Drive UI and API automation testing initiatives and build and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop robust applications, perform system analysis, and conduct complex system integration testing.
- Design and implement web application test automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, and Karate.
- Participate in architecture design, define application-level architecture, and develop applications for complex projects and subsystems.
- Recommend testing tools and methodologies, review test plans, and ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
- Define testing scope, strategies, environments, test data, timelines, and end-to-end test cases across multiple testing types.
- Plan complex project schedules, assignments, lifecycle plans, risk strategies, and technical estimates.
- Advise senior management on technical strategy, resolve business-unit technology issues, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields and three years of relevant experience.
- Experience performing UI and API automation testing, CI/CD buildout, analysis, and application testing.
- Expertise with Java, Cucumber, Selenium, Eclipse, TestNG, SOAP UI, Postman, or REST Assured for automated and web-service testing.
- Expertise designing CI/CD pipeline infrastructure using Jenkins, managing Java orchestration and package dependencies, and using SVN, GitHub, or GitLab for version control and artifact repositories.
- Experience with HP ALM, Zephyr, or JIRA for end-to-end test cases and with Oracle and IBM DB2 database testing and advanced SQL queries.
- Experience with full-stack quality assurance, continuous testing, continuous improvement, Agile delivery frameworks, web services, system, regression, user acceptance, smoke, and database testing.
