Growth Engineer (Milan)
Eight SleepResponsibilities
- Build responsive and accessible landing, campaign, partner, and influencer pages.
- Design, build, launch, instrument, and analyze a high volume of A/B tests.
- Create scalable, templatized systems for efficient and consistent page launches.
- Own and maintain analytics tracking and advertising integrations while keeping event data accurate and privacy-compliant.
- Optimize conversion across promotions, email capture, calls to action, messaging, and page performance.
- Maintain SEO metadata, sitemaps, structured data, and page speed.
- Build localized pages and experiments for supported regions and languages.
- Collaborate with growth, marketing, and design teams to ship measurable improvements quickly.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and the modern front-end stack.
- At least five years of front-end web development experience, ideally in growth, marketing, or ecommerce contexts.
- Ability to design experiments, formulate hypotheses, consider sample size and statistical significance, and interpret results.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics, including funnels, cohorts, and event tracking, using Amplitude or a similar tool.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4.
- Understanding of web performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and data privacy or consent requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to QA work independently.
- Ability to use coding assistants and other AI tools effectively.
- Preferred experience includes SEO/AEO, structured data, internationalization/localization, server-side conversion tracking, Tailwind CSS, design-system components, Figma-to-code workflows, headless CMS platforms, media-heavy sites, and asset optimization.
