Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of backend product stories from technical design through production release.
- Build reliable systems for onboarding, document verification, and security flows.
- Develop backend services for shop discovery and personalized consumer journeys.
- Build subscription, referral, retention, and loyalty functionality.
- Own AWS-based infrastructure and contribute to architectural improvements.
- Use AI tools to improve coding, root-cause analysis, and documentation efficiency.
- Conduct technical analysis, estimate effort, participate in incident resolution, and maintain system stability.
- Create technical documentation and collaborate with Product and stakeholders on roadmap alignment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Strong experience building and maintaining scalable microservices.
- Solid expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Cloud-environment experience, with AWS experience preferred.
- Focus on performance, user experience, maintainability, and high-quality code.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Fluent English and interest in FinTech, user growth, or startup environments.
