Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and launch Shopify and Shopify Plus themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build advanced Shopify features and custom apps using the Storefront API and Admin API.
- Develop backend integrations with ERP, CRM, PIM, payment, logistics, and marketing services.
- Collaborate with designers to assess technical feasibility and select implementation approaches.
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, mobile, and performance compatibility.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot Shopify theme issues, and customize existing themes.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
- Strong knowledge of Liquid, Shopify CLI, theme architecture, and Hydrogen or the Storefront API.
- Experience building custom Shopify apps.
- Frontend experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS or Tailwind, JavaScript ES6+, and React.
- Experience with performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse.
- Backend experience with Node.js, PHP, Ruby, or similar backend stacks.
- Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience integrating third-party services such as payment, ERP, CRM, and marketing tools.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows using GitHub or GitLab.
- Docker experience is nice to have, along with experience using AWS, GCP, Vercel, or Netlify.
