Backend Software Engineer (Stability) - Global Infrastructure & SRE - Global Payment - Singapore
ByteDanceResponsibilities
- Optimize Global Payments architecture for high availability, performance, maintainability, stability, and globalization.
- Design and implement end-to-end stability assurance systems for payment businesses.
- Respond to production issues and protect payment service uptime.
- Lead critical technical special projects across Global Payments subdomains.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving software or system engineering, or equivalent working experience.
- Good programming experience with high-concurrency or complex business systems and service management.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language: C, C++, Java, Go, or Python.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, responsibility, self-direction, and communication and collaboration skills.
- Payment industry background is preferred.
