Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end MuleSoft integration architecture, strategy, reusable patterns, standards, and canonical data model.
- Lead solution design and delivery for approximately 45–55 integrations across internal and external platforms.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and integration developer coaching.
- Own scalability, resilience, performance, security, observability, error handling, and other non-functional requirements.
- Manage cross-vendor dependencies and technical alignment across implementation partners and platform vendors.
- Drive CI/CD, automated testing, version control, release management, and broader DevOps maturity for integration assets.
- Support data readiness, migration orchestration, and reconciliation across current and target landscapes.
- Plan and estimate integration work while managing backlog, risks, issues, quality, and Agile/SAFe delivery activities.
- Establish the integration support and run model and transition solutions from build into stable operation.
- Report progress, risks, and key technical decisions to programme leadership and architecture governance.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of enterprise integration experience, including at least 3 years leading integration teams or squads.
- Proven delivery experience on large, complex, multi-vendor transformation programmes, ideally in financial services or lending.
- Expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, API Manager, Runtime Fabric or CloudHub, DataWeave, and RAML or OpenAPI.
- Experience integrating packaged platforms such as Salesforce or nCino with legacy technologies such as Pega and Java, using REST, SOAP, event-driven, streaming, messaging, batch, and data-integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, API policies, encryption, and secrets management.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture, canonical data modelling, and API governance.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, MUnit, Jenkins or Azure DevOps, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Strong technical leadership, decision-making, stakeholder management, coaching, and multidisciplinary team-building abilities.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, TOGAF, Salesforce or nCino certifications, Pega or SAP experience, data-migration tooling experience, lending or credit domain familiarity, and SAFe or Agile certification.
- Working proficiency in Dutch and required proficiency in English.
