Responsibilities
- Build scalable, clean, reusable ServiceNow applications and enterprise integration solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of analytical product features using JavaScript and Java.
- Own critical technical initiatives from planning through deployment and improve existing applications and services.
- Evaluate ServiceNow features, develop proofs of concept and prototypes, and validate architectural decisions.
- Establish best practices for platform development, integrations, scalability, performance optimization, and security.
- Mentor and guide engineers while providing technical leadership and collaborating across teams without formal authority.
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience delivering end-to-end enterprise-grade solutions.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript and good experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language.
- Proficiency with modern UI frameworks such as React or web component-based frameworks.
- Experience building and maintaining secure, scalable applications and integrations.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate effectively across teams without formal authority.
- Experience applying AI to work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Preferred: experience with AI coding tools such as Claude or Codex and backend disciplines including API design, design patterns, and database technologies.
