Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend systems handling massive traffic, data, and rapid growth.
- Maintain and evolve a shared Rust component used by iOS and Android for networking, data synchronization, and cross-platform feature logic.
- Collaborate with mobile engineers to connect mobile development with backend infrastructure.
- Design and implement differentiated product features.
- Monitor analytics, manage system crashes, triage bugs, and own the reliability of assigned components.
- Contribute to technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Production experience with Rust or a strong background in C++, C, or OCaml.
- Hands-on production experience with distributed systems such as Kafka, Redpanda, ScyllaDB, Cassandra, or similar.
- Strong understanding of consumer social products.
- French is not required, and perfect English is not required.
