Responsibilities
- Work on product and technology initiatives that balance effort, quality, and user value.
- Optimize and improve the AutoScout24 technology stack, including team and individual efficiency, architectural principles, and frameworks.
- Support the company’s agile product development approach.
- Use GenAI coding tools to improve development speed and quality through code generation, refactoring, debugging, testing, and documentation.
- Integrate LLM APIs into applications or internal tools.
- Implement guardrails, including reviews, tests, and policies, for safe, compliant, and sustainable GenAI usage at scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Breadth across languages and technologies using both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Kafka, and AWS is a strong plus.
- Experience with Scala is a plus.
- Demonstrated effective use of GenAI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, and OpenAI Codex.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or Vertex AI.
- Understanding of GenAI limitations and risks, with the ability to establish appropriate usage guardrails.
