Responsibilities
- Develop product and technology initiatives for high-traffic search and advertising systems.
- Optimize the AutoScout24 technology stack, team efficiency, architecture, and frameworks.
- Balance engineering effort, quality, and user value while supporting agile product development.
- Integrate LLM APIs into applications or internal tools.
- Use GenAI coding tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, testing, and documentation while applying appropriate guardrails.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with broad knowledge of languages and technologies across object-oriented and functional paradigms.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Kafka, and AWS.
- Experience with Scala is a plus.
- Demonstrated effective use of GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, or similar GenAI coding tools.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or similar services.
- Understanding of GenAI limitations and risks, including how to implement reviews, tests, and policies for safe, compliant, and sustainable use at scale.
