Responsibilities

Evaluate business requirements and processes, prepare application specifications, and develop, test, and implement efficient applications.
Provide design leadership and direction for new systems development.
Establish change-control and product-migration procedures.
Own system-related problems and maintain existing applications according to established architecture and standards.
Review requirements and test plans and provide technical feedback to business analysts.
Perform unit and integrated testing and assist users during testing, training, and demonstrations.
Provide rotating on-call support for production systems.
Write technical documentation, document code, and support assigned projects.
Coach and mentor other systems development team members and maintain relationships with colleagues, management, clients, and vendors.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
3–5 years of software development experience.
Experience developing systems with Visual Basic.NET, SQL Server, and XML.
Experience building full-stack systems across front-end and back-end layers, including user-facing, server-side, database, and API components.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, code management applications such as GitHub, and DevOps deployment.
Strong oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn third-party systems and vendors, meet deadlines, and mentor or coach others.
Must speak English.
