Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
  • Write, debug, and iterate on scalable software with cross-functional teammates.
  • Build developer productivity tools such as web utilities, log analysis tools, debuggers, and software management platforms.
  • Explore cloud technologies, data engineering, and modern development practices.
  • Translate architectural designs into working code with senior engineers and technical leads.
  • Research emerging technologies and help define and deliver new features end to end.
  • Collaborate actively in an Agile development environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • Experience with Java development, Linux, shell scripting, and SQL.
  • Exposure to front-end development using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficiency with Git and working knowledge of Python.
  • Familiarity with application monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Bilingual French and English communication is required.
  • Collaborative mindset, ability to work independently, and genuine curiosity about customer and stakeholder needs.
