Base Salary
$150k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert and technical lead for large-scale data products.
- Drive end-to-end solution delivery across multiple platforms and technologies, including complex ELT implementations.
- Partner with architects and stakeholders to shape pipeline and data product architecture while maintaining integrity and scalability.
- Communicate technology risks and tradeoffs to senior and business leaders.
- Maintain accountability for data pipeline and product designs, tool recommendations, and data engineering practices across teams.
- Research, evaluate, recommend, and influence the adoption of emerging data and analytics tools, technologies, techniques, and frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of experience in software development or a data engineering-related occupation.
- Five years of experience with programming, SDLC practices, distributed systems, data warehousing solutions including SQL and NoSQL, and ETL tools.
- Three years of experience with CI/CD, big data, cloud technologies including AWS and Azure, Python or Spark, data mesh, data lakes, Snowflake, AWS, production cloud workloads, and SDLC practices including Agile/iterative methodologies and toolsets.
