Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement test automation strategies.
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to align with application updates.
- Identify, record, and track software defects, and verify fixes through re-testing.
- Perform end-to-end testing for various web applications to ensure seamless user experience.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide feedback to the team.
- Integrate manual test paths using API scripts into software UI for process automation.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in test automation.
- Work with other software engineers to optimize automation development improvement and its functionality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of programming experience with Javascript, Python, and Robot.JS.
- Strong problem solver with a focus on code design, quality, and architecture.
- Create and manage end-to-end automated test cases using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies and tools including automated build systems, version control, and issue tracking systems.
- Experience with Cross Browser Testing like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
- Experience with Browser Extension is a plus.
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL server, MySQL, etc.).
- Experience with other testing frameworks or tools (e.g., Cypress, Jest) is a plus.
