Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project testing scope and requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans with comprehensive coverage and traceability.
- Create and maintain datasets for automated, manual, and exploratory data-driven testing.
- Set up and tear down test datasets using PowerShell, Bash, command-line scripts, or SQL statements.
- Compare large datasets across systems and validate accuracy, completeness, consistency, anomalies, and edge cases.
- Conduct exploratory testing and analyze test results to identify and document defects.
- Report testing metrics, progress, and outcomes while working with application teams on defect resolution.
- Maintain and improve automated testing integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement performance testing strategies and identify software performance bottlenecks.
- Evaluate new QA automation tools and techniques, including Playwright features, Jira plug-ins, and generative AI tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and/or testing.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Node.js, PL/SQL, T-SQL, or similar languages.
- Expertise with testing frameworks and tools such as Playwright, JUnit, JMeter, TestNG, and Xray.
- Expertise testing relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience with Git and Jira.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and other CI/CD tools and systems.
- Understanding of rapid software testing methodologies, principles, and practices.
- Hands-on experience with Postman or REST-assured is preferred.
- Experience testing cloud-based applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, independent-work, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
- US citizenship is required.
