Responsibilities
- Write server-side web application logic and develop backend components.
- Connect applications with third-party web services and integrate frontend work with the application.
- Develop and integrate plugins for frameworks using Ruby and Go.
- Scale software products and data processing.
- Contribute to system architecture and design.
- Write clear source code, unit tests, and integration tests.
- Build product features and API services and solve technical problems.
- Collaborate with lead engineering, technical program management, QA, and remote overseas engineering teams.
- Act as a role model for the junior software engineer team and continuously improve technical practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of work experience solving complex problems through technology.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
- Working proficiency with LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Experience with Golang and Ruby on Rails, or interest in learning Ruby on Rails with another technology stack.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and MVC.
- Experience with TDD and versioning tools.
- Good knowledge of APIs, microservices, and caching solutions.
- Proven experience as a developer with a track record of problem-solving.
- English proficiency for collaboration with remote overseas engineering teams.
