Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead applications systems analysis, programming, and the implementation of new or revised application systems.
- Design, develop, integrate, and deploy high-performance Java and Spring Boot applications using MongoDB for persistence.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices and ensure application designs follow the overall architecture blueprint.
- Establish standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Resolve complex, high-impact business and system process problems and define innovative solutions.
- Develop and integrate AI agents to enhance application intelligence and automation.
- Apply prompt engineering methodologies and use Google ADK to build, test, and deploy AI-powered features.
- Use AI-powered code analysis tools to identify potential bugs, vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and style deviations.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Partner with management, architecture, infrastructure, and technology teams to deliver products and process improvements.
Requirements
- 6–12 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Maven or Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Git and standard branching strategies.
- Familiarity with SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON web services and data formats.
- Practical experience with AI development tools such as Devin, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Anti Gravity, and Codex.
- Demonstrable experience designing, implementing, and integrating AI agents into software systems.
- Familiarity with Google ADK or similar AI development kits or platforms.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, analytical, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Angular experience is a plus.
