Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure security solutions at scale.
- Identify and mitigate security issues and vulnerabilities for internal users and customers.
- Establish an understanding of DigitalOcean’s production and corporate environments.
- Partner with technical teams to harden accounts and platforms against intrusions.
- Develop early warning systems to detect and mitigate risks.
- Manage vulnerability management and patching policies for infrastructure.
- Improve security continuously as the company scales.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud and infrastructure security.
- Hands-on expertise in automated detection and remediation workflows.
- Strong understanding of Linux systems and O/S hardening practices.
- Experience with AWS and familiarity with GCP.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus: Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code.
