Base Salary
$215k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver machine learning models and components for business problems in collaboration with Product and Data Science teams.
- Make ML infrastructure decisions involving models, data, features, training, hyperparameter tuning, dimensionality, bias and variance, and validation.
- Write and test application code, develop and validate ML models, and automate testing and deployment.
- Build and enhance software for large-scale data and ML applications as part of a cross-functional team.
- Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production.
- Build or leverage cloud architectures and platforms to deliver optimized ML models at scale.
- Construct optimized data pipelines for ML models.
- Apply continuous integration, continuous deployment, test automation, and monitoring practices.
- Manage code and model governance while applying responsible and explainable AI practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of programming experience with Python, Java, Golang, or C++.
- At least 4 years of machine learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and Pandas, NumPy, or Scikit-learn.
- At least 4 years of experience using and operating large-scale distributed systems such as Spark and Ray for AI or ML data preparation.
- At least 2 years of experience deploying and operating ML solutions in production, operating cloud production services with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and using Kubernetes for large-scale containerized ML systems.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's or Doctoral degree, ML optimization experience, software development best practices, resilient production systems, advanced ML techniques and architectures, production-ready ML data pipelines, at least 1 year of technical leadership, and authorship or co-authorship of an ML paper.
